About

My name is Vika Varabyova, and I started VIKALISM in 2026.

Coming from a literature background, as a silversmith now, I use the same approach: it's never only about how it looks. It's an emotion frozen in words. Or metal. I'm fascinated with and drawn to the imperfect beauty of human expression, and I got another chance to explore that through creating my jewelry.

All pieces are designed and produced in the city of Los Angeles. Carving out something much weirder, more human, more organic, the pieces are not 100% identical but are always made with extreme attention and love. Thank you for supporting and believing in my brand. I hope you are going to enjoy my pieces as much as I enjoy creating them.

Care

Rub your silver jewelry with a polishing cloth on a regular basis (ideally after each wear) to keep the metal shining. Store your pieces somewhere dry and dark at all times, in a jewelry box or their original packaging. Keep them away from the bathroom and any spot that's humid or gets sunlight.

If your silver has darkened and you'd like to restore its original color, plain white vinegar or a lemon juice and baking soda mixture work well for this. Either fully submerge the piece in the solution (only if it has no stones) or use a soft toothbrush to work the mix directly onto the metal, avoiding any stones. Once you notice the metal lightening, rinse it thoroughly under cold water and pat dry with a towel or fan. Once completely dry, buff the piece with a polishing cloth to bring back its shine.

Important: Don't leave your pieces soaking for more than 5 minutes. Longer exposure can undo the effect and leave your piece more prone to tarnishing going forward. Only use this method when it's necessary.
